The main goal of this study is to analyze the structural and writing principles of experimental science textbooks of the Junior high school related to the biology sections, from the perspective of student teachers at Farhangian University. The present research is applied and statistical population is the 7, 8 and 9th grade science textbooks published in 2023. Data was collected through a questionnaire. To analyze the findings, descriptive statistics such: frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation were used. The results showed that in the field of writing: the principles of Persian grammar, essay markings, and Persian equivalence were done in the most appropriate way, while having a uniform style and lack of diversity in the book's writings can be considered its shortcomings. In the structural field, the results are very encouraging and demonstrate the appropriateness of the structure of all three science books. Weakness is observed only in the category of final questions, which seems to be due to the lack or absence of questions at the end of chapters. Also, some questions are related to laboratory activities and are not intended to teach concepts. |
